Our Story

Parlor City Vegan, established in 2016, is a restaurant and plant-based foods company based in Binghamton, NY. We strive to bring people together from all backgrounds to celebrate the regional bounty of Upstate New York with our changing seasonal menus, event catering, and line of plant-based food products.

By partnering with Upstate farmers who supply us with the best locally grown produce, we revisit our family classics- The types of regional dishes Sara’s Grandmother meticulously etched onto recipe cards then tucked away to preserve for generations. The type of “stick to your ribs” regional cuisine that Upstate New York is known for.

I can’t even begin to recommend Parlor City Vegan enough! They catered my wedding over the weekend and everything was so beyond delicious. My now husband, my mom, and I were the only vegans at the entire wedding and everyone LOVED their meals! I think every single guest approached us at some point about how they couldn’t believe everything was vegan and they had no idea vegan food could taste that good! The vanilla cupcakes, mac & cheese, and baked beans were particular hits! And not only was the food good, Sara and Lei were so kind, helpful, professional, and all around amazing! I highly recommend using them to cater any event you have, especially if you’re looking to impress some non-vegans!

My husband and I hired parlor city vegan to cater our 200 person wedding. Our relationship with Sarah and Lui began at their cozy home in Binghamton NY. They invited us to a full dinner in their home kitchen to try their dishes and they had us at the appetizer. The day of our wedding they brought a full staff, set up a tent at the barn venue and provided appetizers, multiple main courses and dessert. Not only was the food fabulous but Sara was responsible, easy to work with and on top of every detail. We were their first large event and I would recommend them for a party of any size!

PCV is so fun! Anyone, vegan or not, will find something they will love. Try the Big Maxine, their take on a Big Mac!

Everything I have ordered has been absolutely fantastic and the service is so friendly and accomadating. Its a huge help to be able to pre order something from the menu and pick it up, you guys are just amazing! Thanks for having such great food choices to pick from, I can’t wait to try more!!
